You are probably thinking to yourself right now, what the heck is Big Nerd Energy? It is primarily about learning new things like unicycling and not being ashamed of who you are. That is a fun fact about me; I can unicycle. Big Nerd energy is a core principle of mine; it is about waking up one morning and saying, "I'm going to try something new." It is about taking those creative risks when warranted to push yourself and knowing your limitations (please don't hurt yourself if you try unicycling). I firmly believe that deep inside each of us resides some BNE. After all my personal motto is "The unknown is just a solution or answer waiting to happen." So, that's gotta be backed by some strong principle. Some of the areas in design I can bring Big Nerd Energy into are 3D graphics/motion, branding/logos, UX/UI, print and research. I pride myself on being a highly adaptable multidisciplinary designer with the occasional completely random skill, and much of that stems from my personal views, outlook, and constant push to learn something new.
